Your account data, targets, alert channels and measurements are stored exclusively on the servers in France; the probe locations receive only the address and check type of the targets. We operate the servers ourselves; the operator provides the data centre and hardware. Cloudflare forwards the requests to portslie.com (and portslie.de) and accepts the encrypted connection in doing so; Cloudflare does not store account data, while publicly accessible files such as stylesheets may be cached there.
Protection against access from third countries
- Data is stored only in the EU, with companies based in the EU.
- Transmitted encrypted: to you via TLS, between our servers via a WireGuard network; backups are stored encrypted.
- Access is restricted to the owner of portslie; there is no access for third parties.
- Requests from authorities or courts outside the EU for data stored in the EU are complied with only under the conditions of Art. 32 of Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 — i.e. on the basis of an international agreement or following the review steps laid down there. We disclose only the bare minimum and inform you in advance, insofar as this is permitted.
- Cloudflare is based in the USA and is subject to US law. The transfer of personal data is governed by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses; details can be found in the Privacy policy and in the DPA (Annex IV).
