portslie About
About portslie
A small service with one job: report when a server is reachable but nobody can play on it.
Who runs it
portslie is a service by Maurizio Romano, a sole proprietor from Hungen in Hesse, Germany. Under the name MRMedia he hosts game servers — exactly the kind of machines portslie is built for.
If you have a question, write to the address in the legal notice and you get the answer from the operator himself.

What we stick to
- Every number can be backed up. Plan limits live in one place in the code, and exactly that number also enforces the limit in production. User numbers or availability rates we do not measure are not stated here.
- An alert is an event. What gets reported is the change, not every bad check. Monitoring that reports all the time gets muted.
- Limits are stated. What is missing is on this page, not hidden in the fine print.
What portslie cannot do yet
So you don't find out what is missing only after signing in.
- Two probe locations, both in Europe. Strasbourg and Frankfurt; an outage only counts when the majority sees it. How the server looks from overseas is not measured yet.
- No look inside the server. Tick rate, TPS and FiveM resource times can only be measured from inside. That needs an agent, which does not exist yet.
- Not every game. What is checked is listed under Check types; for everything else there is no query yet — you can request one there. For TeamSpeak, the player count is missing.
